About Us

Co-Op is more than just a gaming magazine—it’s a space where the love of play meets the power of connection.

Founded by writer, gamer, and digital culture enthusiast Alfie CooperCo-Op was created to spotlight what makes gaming truly special: the people we share it with. Whether it’s passing a controller on the couch, coordinating raids across continents, or arguing over who’s the better healer in your group chat—games have always been about coming together. That’s the heartbeat of Co-Op.

Born out of late-night LAN parties, weekend tournaments, and deep-dive discussions in online forums, Co-Op is a celebration of all things collaborative in gaming. But we don’t just cover multiplayer—we explore the stories behind the screens. From interviews with developers who build worlds for us to explore, to think-pieces on how gaming culture influences everything from fashion to film, our mission is to give you a smarter, more human perspective on the games you love.

We champion indie creators and celebrate AAA blockbusters. We revisit the classics and stay curious about what’s next. Whether you’re a speedrunner, lore hunter, roleplayer, or button-masher, there’s something here for you. We write for the communities, friendships, rivalries, and stories that games make possible. At its core, Co-Op is a magazine by gamers, for gamers—guided by curiosity, grounded in community, and driven by passion. We’re here to connect you with great stories, new games, and most importantly, with each other.

So if you’ve ever shouted at your friend for stealing your loot, pulled an all-nighter to grind for a raid, or made lifelong friends through a shared love of pixels—you’re in the right place.

This is Co-Op.
